botanical medicine

Botanical medicine is a powerful naturopathic modality that can treat various ailments such as indigestion, pain, insomnia, hormonal issues, cardiovascular issues, liver issues and more. In my clinic I incorporate herbs into a treatment using teas, tinctures, supplements, or topical creams, depending on the needs of the patient. This is a very versatile, and very effective medicine.

nutrition

Good nutrition is the foundation to good health. The health of our body starts with what we put in it, and for this reason nutrition is a major component of naturopathic medicine. Optimizing your nutrition based on your goals and health needs is an important part of every naturopathic treatment.

counselling

Healthy living isn’t only an external concept. Our mental and emotional health can have a powerful impact on our physical health, and vice versa. As such, it is important that these aspects of your health are addressed. If a person can feel heard and supported throughout their treatment, they are more likely to be successful reaching their goals. (*note: Naturopathic doctors do not have the extensive training of a psychologist or clinical counselor and cannot replace these health care providers)
